1944 MANUFACTURED FULLY ADJUSTABLE WEBBING TARGET SLING. BROAD ARROW MARKED AND DATED 1944 (1 Item) Webbing sling, having brass fittings, adjustable buckle and leather quick release attachments to both ends. Original sand coloured webbing 2 inches wide for increased arm contact. In good useable, strong condition (both webbing and leather soft and pliable). Marked as follows: One leather quick release marked: Broad Arrow over 44 Webbing also clearly marked: 7 over Broad Arrow over 44 One end just visibly marked: TR USE (No.4T Rifle Use) As only available and issued to Regimental marksmen and shooting teams. This sling is wider than the standard issue sling because it was designed to be used to steady when aiming. Designed to be adjustable for use with all Enfields, but appears to have been specifically issued for use with a No.4T NO RESERVE!!!!
