ca 1790-1810, with hand-painted wooden dial, 30-hour wooden weight driven time and strike movement. Case is poplar with original dark varnish finish; interior or door signed in period ink Harry G. Button/Wethersfield, (likely Wethersfield, Conn., south of Hartford); 84.5" high x 17.4" wide x 10.24" deep.
