For auction is a delightful silhouette of an elegant lady, highlighted with bronze. She wears beautiful drop earrings and a necklace, and has a complicated hairstyle, typical for this period. The artist is E Whittle, who is well known for his silhouettes, and his name appears on the reverse. It dates from about 1830.The frame is papier mache, and it has a brass acorn hanging attachment.The whole is in very good condition, with just the smallest fleabite to the edge of the frame - it hardly notices.The shadows you see on the glass are only reflections - t are no marks.Shipping:USA/Japan USD15.-UK/Mainland Europe USD12.-I accept cashier's check, US postal money order or bank transfer.
