Fine Swiss, 1910 / 20s, gold filled open face gents pocket watch. Nice condition named enamelled dial and in excellent fully Cleaned & serviced working order. Case - Fine plain case in nice polished condition. All covers shut tight, n o dings or dents just normal pocket wear with back opening marks to edge near pendant. There is a small dull area on back cover ( see photo ) otherwise gold covering looks all good, N o inscriptions, initials or dedications. The winding crown, bow and pendant are excellent with no loss of plating. The inner to back cover is marked `English Make` `This case Guaranteed to wear 10 years` also marked `V.W.C.` this being the case maker. These `guaranteed wear` cases are generally made of two plates of gold with composition between, Dennison cases are marked as such, this maker seems not to. UB glass is very clean. Dial - The enamel dial is perfect, pure white with f ine black roman numerals, the recessed seconds dial in Arabic. Has its original blued steel `spade design` hands. Dial is named `Cuthbertson` `London` the London somewhat feint, also `Swiss Made` Movement - Movement looks in near original condition, one short scratch.
