This fine English cheese keeper c.1910 is pearlescent and ivory with hand painted gold accents. The dome is in the shape of a nautilus shell with a sea serpent handle. The underplate mimics the shape of the shell. It is most wonderful and unusual. It is marked and hand numbered both on the dome and underplate. It does have several small flakes on the under rim of the plate and 2 very small hairlines in the dome but none of these impact the overall presentation of the piece due to the fact that they are all out of sight and none undermine the actual integrity of the piece. I must say that this item is not in total pristine condition but the beauty of it more then makes up for these minor flaws. It is approx. 6"tall x 9" long x 7" at it's widest point on the underplate.Winning bidder pays S/H/I. contact in 2 days and payment in 3 days required.I accept paypal, bank cks. and personal cks. held until cleared. If you should have any questions PLEASE E-MAIL ME PRIOR TO BIDDING. Thank you!
