It was hand carved in solid mahogany and has a medium fruitwood, hand rubbed finish. All thirteen drawers have dovetail constructed corners. All drawer pulls are antiqued brass and classic in design. The carving is simply fantastic on this piece...from the open filigree work and spindles atop, highly carved lower drawer & beautifully detailed skirting to the immaculately detailed claw feet...t is absolutely nothing left to be desired with this beauty! This consists of two pieces, the top securely rests on the low boy chest.
