DUNHILL 9662 DH [200]
Medium sized Dunhill Shell 4110 long-shanked billiard
with factory sterling silver band
This recently made Dunhill is the exact shape known to be the favorite of Bing Crosby, who bought his from Merchant Service in large quantities because souvenir-seeking fans were always swiping his pipe. It's nearly seven inches long, a nicely grained medium sized sandblasted bowl with an almost pencil thin stem. The rim slopes downward in the direction of the tobacco chamber, resulting in an intriguingly sharp outer edge.

It is decorated with a sterling silver band stamped with the diamond AD maker's mark and 925 .

The pipe has been smoked only a few times, and shows no signs of wear whatsoever on the briar, rim or the stem.
