A Vintage, Neat and Pretty Mahogany Sewing Box, Sewing Caddy, Table or Sewing Stand from England. The workmanship is good with a very functional design. It can double as an end table, lamp or phone table or even a bedside table. The finish is still good but not perfect, it has a few dings & scratches. It's made of Mahogany and Mahogany veneer. The pretty semi-parquet top is 15 3/8" X 15 3/8" and is 28 7/8" tall. The body of the box is 13 3/8" X 13 1/2". Lift up the top and you find a storage area that's about 4 1/2" deep. It has one pocket or pouch sewn into the back of the box. The compartment is lined on the walls and the bottom. The top has a pretty "button tuck" with strap for spool storage. T are several very small holes in the lining on the bottom of the box. The largest one is small than the diameter of a #2 pencil. The drawer is 11" X 10 1/2" and about 2 1/2" deep. The Patina is a brownish mahogany and it's not quite as dark as the pictures show, it was pretty cloudy when the pictures were taken. As with any vintage item this age and with it's travels, it has a ding or two and some scratches but overall it's a very neat box. Please Read the Terms for Payment.
