eBay's largest sellers use AuctionLynxx to increase sales... shouldn't you? ~ ANTIQUE ENGLISH MOCHAWARE YELLOWWARE GREEN SEAWEED DECORATED PITCHER c1820 ~ ~ Very Rare Collectible w/NO RESERVE ~ This piece is very hard to part with. It is exquisite and in the best possible condition. A 4 1/2" high antique English Mochaware/Yellow Ware cream pitcher c1820 with a very rare, hard to find greenish/blue almost aqua seaweed decoration done over a band of cream white. Highlighting the stunning seaweed decoration are two narrow dark brown bands at both the top and bottom of the decoration. The applied handle is done in perfect proportion with the rest of the pitcher. T is very fine and delicate age crazing throughout the pitcher that is so fine you have to look at it with glasses to see it. I blacklighted the entire piece in a blacked-out room and no repairs are evident. I have never seen a piece in finer condition. What a magnificent addition to the serious collector of early English yellow ware... Condition: Pristine. T are no cracks, hairlines or fleabites. No wear to the abundant and unique seaweed decoration. Rim and base are perfect as is the rest of the piece. You will not find a better example of early English earthenware in a seaweed decorated yellowware pitcher. Extraordinary considering the delicate nature of the material. This one was well taken-care of indeed! Dimensions: 4 1/2" high with a 3" base. Top rim diameter 3". Handle to spout measures 5 1/2". This extremely rare and highly desired early English green seaweed decorated Mocha/Yellow Ware cream pitcher is offered in an unheard-of NO RESERVE auction.
