English Oak Barley Twist CORNER Arm Chair w Cane Seat This listing is for a gorgeous English oak CORNER chair, with barley twist posts, barley twist legs and barley twist stretchers - in today's market it is rare to find such a beautiful and unusual chair......this one is a definite "must-have" for the barley twist fans among us!! The chair has a lovely woven cane seat that is quite sturdy and strong, and the construction is suitable for daily use. It has a rich, deep brown finish and a lovely aged patina. An absolutely BEAUTIFUL piece, excellent as an accent piece anyw in your home or office, and certain to compliment any décor, from traditional to French, Victorian to Gothic, Colonial to cottage!! I get many requests for antique occasional chairs or chairs to coordinate with antique desks, and this one certainly works well as either!! All of my antiques are hand selected from European container shipments.
