English Oak Carved Eagle Spinning Wheel Chair Stool HAND CARVED Crown, Eagle & Rampant Lion ~Devon, England Direct from England, a beautiful English oak spinning wheel chair or stool. These chairs make beautiful accent pieces anyw in your home and are often found to be unique point-of-interest pieces in a foyer, perhaps fireside, or in a French Country kitchen!! This particular chair is solid oak, with a rich, dark finish and lovely aged patina. It has stunning carved designs, with a carved crown on the upper tall back~~ A large carved eagle, with a cartouche below~ A majestic carved rampant lion on the seat~~ carvings are EVERYW!! Note the makers embossed name on the back: “Carved BY HAND” at The Studio of Art & Antiquity” “Torbay Devon”. Measurements : 40”H x 12” x 12”; 14” floor to seat top; 7 7/8” width across upper back. All of my antiques are hand selected from premier European shippers. I do not purchase in bulk, but prefer to individually purchase items, with each piece selected for its unique characteristics and quality. Condition : This chair is in good condition, structurally sound and visually appealing, with normal signs of age and use, scratches, dings, and other imperfections.
