English Oak Carved Monkâe(tm)s Bench Storage Chest Table Versatile 3-in-1, Carved Lion Arms, DARK OAK Finish Direct from England, this listing is for a beautiful English oak monkâe(tm)s bench, with a dark, rich finish and loads of charm. It is so very hard to find these fabulous piecesâe¦.they often arrive in the U.S. in such disrepair, but this one is in outstanding condition and its great size and lighter weight make it an excellent choice that is definitely a statement piece and it will command attention anyw!! Two carved lions serve as side arms for the top and command attention with their carved detail; The table top (or bench back) is paneled as well as the bench front, which has plenty of carved applied trim to compliment those carved lions; Not to be left unadorned, the lower front paneled cabinet is also paneled with its own carved applied wood trim; The âeoefeetâe or corners are a bracket style and both sides have a paneled effect. It is sturdy and structurally sound, well made of solid oak and oak veneers in a dark, rich finish.
