From the Certificate of AuthenticityThe following item was purchased from Merchants Square, Inc. and is guaranteed authentic and as described.Handwritten English vellum indenture dated 1735 during the reign of King George II being the conveyance of several parcels of land in Ashdon in the County Essex between Edward Haylock, a Carpenter, and John Baker, a Woosted Weaver, and Thomas Malyn, a Tanner, of Cambridge.Beautifully and Boldly Penned with large, fancy, printed vignette, three blue revenue stamps with insert, tax stamp, and two red was seals on cloth tags.Quite attractive and nice for display, mild wear and discoloration.Measures 24 X 19.25"
