English Setter Lyngby Porcelain Denmark Copenhagen 1924 - 1969 Manufactured sometime between 1960 and 1969 as indicated by the Hallmark and the company history. Issue number appears to be 89. The other figure appears to be a T and just above it, stamped preglaze is the letter M in and indented square. Size: Approximately 7½" long x 2" wide x 5¾" highA very seldom seen figurine. This piece is in perfect condition - like new. It has no chips, cracks, crazing, or flaking. It is what I would describe as a cool bluish white as seen in many fine porcelain dinnerware pieces. The gray is a cool bluish gray that I would associate with other Danish porcelain pieces. Lyngby Porcelain Denmark Copenhagen 1924 - 1969 Established by Neils Holst and Christian Knudsen, who were porcelain dealers when they purchased a company that hand painted and decorated imported porcelain. In 1936, they decided to produce porcelain dinnerware themselves and established the manufactory in Lyngby continuing to use the name "The Porcelain Painting Workshop of Copenhagen" (the original manufactory) up until sometime in the 50's.
