I just adore the Silver Domes, I've collected these and have enough for dinner at Bilmore House, this season I'm sharing!! This is a big one at 20" long x 16" high.It has one initial engraved one one side H and the other side Q. The handle on the top is held on by the typical nut & screw and measures 3.5" High and 4.25" long and is richly decorated with foliate, scrolls and large rondels. The hanle is made very important by sitting in the middle of an applied plate that measures 6" x 4" and is serpentine in form with large rondels along the rim with additional decoration in the middle. The handle sits in a reverse bell flower. It is very majestic looking making you not notice its ding and removal of silver in one small area (1.25" x .75"). This is a really nifty piece that you can also use in the summer to cover the burgers by the pool. Condition-very good.
