These are simply wonderful with a nice design. The english candlesticks are hallmarked with the standard marks. 1) lion w/ paw up which means sterling .925 2)cat without crown which means 1822 to present-city mark- London England 3) makers mark MR 4) date letter P which means 1930's. They are slightly over 12" tall and have a hole on the base of each one, they were at one time made into lamps. I can feel one small ding with my finger on the base and I have left the natural patina on them. They weigh a little over 1 pound on a baby scale. Shipping will be 12.00 which will include insuance.
