Item: Fine English Sterling Silver & Gold Compact Royal Northumberland Fusiliers. A fine English Sterling Silver Ladies compact made by J W Benson of Birmingham, England. The compact is in an Octagon shape with a rose gold emblem to front of The Royal Northumberland Fusiliers Regiment of the British Army. The compact has the benefit of being un-monogrammed and free from initialling. Press to release catch, to the inside the glass is free from any cracks or shelling, has the original powder netting to the inside. To the inside is also a full set of English sterling silver hallmarks. To the outside is an engine turn design to both sides. Becoming very collectable compacts, especially those to the British Army.
