English Tower sea service flintlock pistol 1805

This is a nice example of a Napoleonic Wars British sea service or naval flintlock pistol with the distinctive large metal belt hook on the rigfht side. It is stamped with the British military Ordnance broad Arrow and the date 1805 which was the height of the Napoleonic Wars naval battles and the British Navy mutiny at Spithead I believe. The lock is in excellent condition with virtually no pitting which is rare for these old guns. The lock action is very strong and tight also with half cock and full cock positions; hammer will still drop from half cock position when trigger pulled though. This is a very large and heavy piece with London view mark and GR under Crown ordnance marks on barrel. Please email me at if you have any questions or need more pictures. Thankyou for viewing and please see the similar pieces I have up for sale.
