This elegant end table was made in England, circa 1900. We purchased it in Banbury, England. The lovely piece is made of Walnut and Burl Walnut, a cut of wood revered for its stunning iridescent grain pattern. It has a rich, warm, patina . This is a Victorian era table, in very good condition. The top of the table is elliptical with a scalloping, ogee edge , uniquely molded along the interior.The table sits upon long, sumptuous, cabriole legs . These are supported by straight stretchers. Gorgeous foliate engravings adorn the knee of each leg. Whether you have a contemporary, transitional or classic style of home decor, this piece would make a fantastically unique antique accent. Buying an antique piece is also environmentally conscientious, so you can indulge with a clean conscience.
