Description A sensational English Oak Victorian Hall Cabinet which was originally housed in the foyer of a London Gentleman's Club. It has a fabulous Carved pediment in the Renaissance style with two flanking glazed small cupboards. There are metal drip trays to the base and a bevelled glass Mirror to one side which can swing out. There are two Brass Unbrella/Stick holders to the sides which are hinged and can be flattened against the sides. Brass hooks to the sides and the interior. It has the original velvet drapes which hang from a fitted Brass rail. This is a one off piece which was obviously specially commissioned for the London Club. I would date it to the mid 19th Century. Condition Small backboards missing from the backs of the side arches. A tear to one of the drapes. The Mirror has been moved at some time from one side to the other. A few Brass rings missing from the curtain rail. Measurements Height. 7' 3". Width. 56". Depth. 11".
