Henry Taylor have been making carving chisels in Sheffield since the 19th Century. Henry Taylor is the direct successor of the legendary Addis chisel makers. Today, Henry Taylor forges carving chisels using the finest Sheffield tool steel, and they are revered around the world. Few tools are truly mint. Mint means showing no signs of having ever been used, and appearing in essentially the same condition as when it was new. The difference between mint and new is that mint tools can have slight patination of a pleasant kind. A new tool should show no signs of age. These tools, if not mint are very close.
