Early to mid 19th C. large blue Venetian glass bowl. Engraved on both sides with scene of two people poling a gondola with sails. Below the boat is a scrolling vine decoration, above the boat are stylized flying birds. There are squiggle lines going around the whole piece. Polished rim and bottom. 5 1/2''H x 14 1/2''L x 7''W, some chipping on interior of rim. From a Litchfield Connecticut estate.
