Hello, What I am listing Is agrueably the best color photo of the Enola Gay actually autographed by the Navigator of the Enola Gay. I am his "agent" for book and photo signings when we do road trips. Dutch autographs books and photos from my collection. There Is a strip of paper over the photo to prevent copying. Please note the quality of this photo vs. what a well known dealer has listed. This photo Is reproduced from the original color slide that I own!! The autograph on the photo was autographed with a Blue Stadtler Lumicolor pen which offsets the photo very nicely. The photo Is an 8x10 photo of the Enola Gay on Tinian, the Image size Is slightly smaller 7-1/2 x 9-1/2. It was reproduced from the original color slide which was taken on Tinian by 393rd Bomb Squadron Armament Officer Jack Wright. Color film was scarce In WWII and It had to sent back to kodak to be developed. I own an original color slide. Please note how sharp this photo Is compared to other copies (that have been copied). You are purchasing from an Historian who researched 509th Composite Group photos for 25 years. Most photos being sold were "unearthed" by me. I have sold to collectors, historians and dealers. All my photo work was done by a professional street level brick and mortar photo lab. All our photos are sharp, clear as good as originals or better. read more
