Authentic Rosevile Donatello Umbrella Stand ~ Circa 1915 Dimensions: 20.75" Tall 9.34" in Diameter Many years ago I was an avid Roseville Collector. I started collection Donatello since at the time it was affordable compared to some of the other Roseville Lines. As a collector of Donatello I became very familiar with the type of pieces I wanted to add to my collection. Donatello is known to have an extreme amount of crazing as well as something I call surface flaking. This is w the upper or top layer of the pottery flakes off. These are things that I quickly learned to avoid when building my collection. I searched for years for this Umbrella stand and I'm happy to say that this has NO extreme crazing and NO surface flaking. T is one chip on one of the spines (see Red Arrow in pictures as well as a close up of the actual chip) This chip was on the piece when I purchased it back in the late 1950's. Around the Top Opening t are a few minor marks. The rest of the piece has no chips, no nicks, no hairline cracks or major crazing. It's not easy finding a piece of pottery this big with practically no damage. Usually they get hit by a vacume cleaner or kicked by someone not paying attention. It's big and heavy (weighs) almost 20 lbs. The piece has been displayed in an enormous glass case for the entire time I've owned it which is why it's in such great condition. Shipping = Actual Shipping Cost : USPS Parcel Post with Delivery Confirmation and Insurance will depend on your zip code. The Stand Resides in Scottsdale Arizona so Local Pick up is Welcomed. Otherwise the piece will be packed with extreme care to ensure safe transit to it's new home. Due t0 the size and time involved to pack the stand will be shipped within 4 days from the time payment has been received. Weekends & Holidays are excluded. Since you are unable to handle the item we try to provide clear pictures of our merchandise. The pictures will always be of the actual item that you are bidding on. We don't recycle our pictures. The item will be shipped to the Confirmed Address that is provided to us by Pay Pal. All we can do is assume that the Confirmed Address Pay Pal provides to us along with your payment your current address. If you've moved and put a change of address in with the USPS and you haven't updated your information with Pay Pal please know that our packages will not be forwarded.
