I am listing this collection for my 80 year old mother because of health reasons.She has amassed this amazing amount of collectible history by years and years of buying,selling swapping,flea markets ,private collections,gifts from people lawn sales etc.,etc. A few years back she purchased a very large collection in Nova Scotia which of course is incuded.T is every shape ,size ,configuration,color,styles imaginable.Black glass,red glass,mother of pearl,wood,antler,bone,clear,mirrored,imitation diamond,metal,steel,brass,bakelite,celluloid,embossed,painted,enameled,decorated,art decco;the list goes on and on and on!!T are approx.40-50 belt buckles of all ages ,shapes sizes,styles. My mother was guessing she had around 10,000 buttons but after 3 days with 3 people gathering this massive assortment from every nook and cranny of her home and barn,we all think t is a LOT more than that!! I tried to weigh the bulk of them and I would say t is approx.40-50 lbs.of just buttons tAll tins (some very collectible or sellable),containers,boxes,aqua canning jars etc. are included in the sale.Military buttons of brass ,steel etc. are t by the hundreds.Fire depts,police etc.etc.Approx 250 cards with attached buttons by my best estimate with markings from France,Germany,Italy,Czechoslavakia etc.Speaking of Germany;on the plastic lid way to left of read more
