Ephraim Faience Art Pottery Vase, "Snowy Owl

For your consideration, a museum quality pot from Ephraim Faience Pottery of Wisconsin, "The Snowy Owl". The vase was in limited production, and only 50 were thrown. It is the first vase in the Bird Series. The pot is mint, with no chips, cracks or repairs. Mint, mint, mint from a smoke free home.
The pot was hand thrown, hand carved and hand glazed. The glazing is exceptional, and the carving is the best of three Owl vases that I have seen. To say that this pot is a master work is not an exaggeration. In all the years that I have collected pottery, this piece is truly special. The multi color glaze runs are staggering. This may be your only opportunity to own a "Snowy Owl". Do not kick yourself after the auction, wishing that you had bid. The vase will be double boxed and insured. As an after thought, the vase is one of the larger ones made by Ephraim, just over 11 inches in height (ELEVEN INCHES). The proportions are perfect.
