Offered for auction is Ephraim's #818 DARNER VASE . This is one of EFP's earlier pieces. The nice form of the vase and the design in sculpting is a clear indication of the direction that Ephraim was heading. T are three dragonflies encircling the top of this piece; wings resting on the shoulder of the vase while the slender body cascades down the side. The top is glazed with a golden color that flows over the edge in between the dragonflies. The glazing on this vase is very nicely done! The Darner Vase was retired on 03-14-03 with 307 being made. It measures 8" high by 5" wide at the top. It is in excellent condition with no damage of any kind, has an early EFP imprint for 1998, and no signature stamp. This is one of those elusive vases that doesn't come up for sale very often. 's your opportunity to add a wonderful, older piece to your collection.
