A Korean-built Epiphone Sheraton II, generally acknowledged to be of superior quality and finish compared to Chineses later models. Serial No. 9121711: 1989, December, production No. 1711. Sunburst Tobacco finish in generally excellent condition apart from light polish marks and one or two TINY scuffs more than dings, that won't photograph. There is one chip on the head binding - see close up picture, and the gold plating has over-polished on the pick-ups and the tail piece, but does not detract at all. Very minimal fret wear. Restrung today with 10 guage strings. Binding has mellowed with age into a beautiful warm ivory colour. This really is a gorgeous guitar.I've owned this guitar from new, never gigged, very light use only hence no hard case, but it comes with a basic 'gig-bag'. As I mainly play acoustic guitar, it's time for this one to move on to a new player.
