E. Erb, "Market" very well listed jewish/polish artist Erno Erb (1878 - 1943) A painter connected with the artist’s society of Lvov. Known mainly for his rural scenes and landscapes inspired by daily life of Ukrainians as well as Jews. His works were frequently exhibited in Cracow, Warsaw and Lvov. Erb took part in the General Art Exhibition in Poznan (1929) and in the Polish Art Exhibition - Buffalo (1932). The size of this painting is 64x53 cm without frame. Oil on canvas. Provenance: it was bought 2003 in Ukraine, Lwow. After this it was cleaned. Frame needs reconstruction or new framing, altough i'm selling in original. The painting was scanned with UV. Any repairs weren't found.
