Erickson Freehand Glass EMERALD Green Star #44 Bonbon, FABULOUS! _____________________________________ We're very pleased to present this great piece of vintage art glass by Erickson Freehand Glassworks! Erickson was in business in Ohio from 1943 to 1961, and produced some of this country's finest examples of elegant art glass. This Star shaped bonbon or ashtray (as it's called in Ramona Knower's book Erickson Freehand Glass ) measures 7.125" across the top of the dish, and is approximately 2.875" deep. The six points of the star are hand shaped around a center of evenly spaced controlled bubbles which run in "rays" up the sides....the bottom has a deeply ground and polished pontil, and the piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or any other damage.
