Offered here is a classic ERIE BRAND (PRE GRISWOLD NAME) CAST IRON SKILLET, IN THE LARGE NUMBER 12 SIZE, IN NEAR PERFECT CONDITION ! This large skillet was manufactured between 1870 and 1900, making it well over 110 years old! The skillet measures 13 1/4 inches across at the widest portion. It has a nice large, clear "ERIE" name logo in an arch at the top and the number 12 stamping on the bottom. In the middle is the pattern number: 719. The interior finish is smooth with no rust or pitting. The skillet sits flat and there is no wabble or warp. Also, no cracks or dents in the casting. Overall this is a choice skillet, in excellent condition, and it would make a fine addition to the Cast on Collection or for use in the kitchen today. Please see photos for additional details.
