Beautifully Designed Art Nouveau Amphora Ferner

Hand Painted, Ornately Molded, Raised Gold Accents

Circa 1899 - 1918

This Austrian majolica type amphora planter is just phenomenal; stunning, gorgeous and perfect! Earthy tones set the background for the beautiful leaves, lively bees, dragon flies that are so delicately hand painted and the entire piece is artistically decorated with genuine raised gold accents. The pictures describe this vase; the details of the ornate handles, almost serpent-like, the reticulated rim opening; all just exquisitely designed and executed. This piece is perfect; porcelain is of exceptional quality and has the soft warm feel of Amphora with matte glaze and the painting is meticulously preserved to exceptional condition! Measures: 7" high to top of handle; 11" from handle to handle; 4" x 6" rim opening; 25" circumference around the widest part and the footed base is about 7"long by 3-1/2" wide. Weighs 2.4 pounds unboxed. T is much to see on this piece, please take some time to catch all the fine details. Just a superb piece of Amphora!
