ERTL FARM TOY International Red SET OF PLOWS This auction is for a Vintage ERTL Farm Tractor Toy. Made by ERTL, this farm Tractor was made probably in the 1970's or early 1980's as my best guess . Diecast Metal painted in the INTERNATIONAL RED colors. It has: ERTL CO. DRYERSVILLE, IOWA stamped on it. I'm guessing the scale at 1/16, but hopefully a true collector will already know this. It measures 10" long x 3" tall x 4" wide. This item might have come in a set, because I also have 3 farm implements that match plus a Tractor. All four items were found in a box from my childhood toys. The 3 plows are plastic, as is the discs cutters in front of each plow, but the implement itself is a diecast metal. The hitch bar seems to be intact and functioning correctly. In fact I do not see any broken or missing parts, although the paint is scraped up pretty good. That's the problem with these collectable toys, they were made to be TOYS so they are usually in rough shape. I also have for sale on Ebay right now: Ertl International Plow Set and Disc Set & Diecast Tractor. I am starting these farm toys cheaply, so someone can still afford to fix them up to collectable status, or just buy them for your child to play with. I enjoyed them, now it's time for someone else too. Buy them all and I can ship them in the same box to save you postage fees. read more
