This is a wonderful antique jewelry set consisting of a pin (brooch) and non-pierced earrings. The set is either made of whale bone or walrus bone. The scrimshaw design on the pin is of a native Eskimo pulling a sled; the scrimshaw on the earrings is of a multi-masted sailing ship. All pieces are signed by the artist: "Howard Weyahak". The earring backs are bent and will need to be reshaped beforing wearing. I could not find any markings on the metal pieces. If you are the winning bidder on an item and are not completely satisfied that the item is as described I will accept returns. Please email me before returning the item so we may make proper arrangements. I will reimburse the cost of the item & shipping cost to you. You will only be responsible for the cost of shipping to return the item. I would like to emphasise that almost everything I put up for auction on ebay has history and age. Inevitably t will be signs of the age and wear from folks who have loved the item before. This is the joy and nature of antique and vintage pieces. If you are looking for items in pristine or brand new condition, than my treasures may not be to your liking. I encourage you to purchase insurance when paying for your item as I cannot quarantee that it will not become lost or damage in the mail. I pack as if I was mailing something very fragile to myself, so I am very careful. Unfortunately the post office doesn't always handle packages with the same thought in mind. Anytime during the auction feel free to email me with any questions. Once items are listed I will not end the listing early and sell outside of ebay so, please don't ask me to.
