Pair of 2 ca.1890's views of Esquimalt, British Columbia, Canada harbor, both on 8 1/2 x 11 3/8 in. stiff beige mounts: 1) One 7 1/2 x 9 1/4 in. view of 5 large ships at anchor with "Equimalt, B.C." penciled in at the center of the bottom mount margin. Mount evidences warping, corner crease & small broken corner bottom left, some age discolor on mount edges. C ondition is Mostly Very Good. 2) One 8 x 9 3/4 in. view of 2 ships at anchor with pier, large warehouse and other buildings at bottom left. Approximately 2 1/2 in. horizontal tear at left margin of view is glued securely to mount. Mount evidences some warping. Condition is Good - Very Good. Please Note: 2 other albumen photos have been mounted on the back of view #2. These are: one 6 1/2 x 8 1/2 in. view of main lodge at Yellowstone National Park; one 4 x 8 in. view of ice jam on river at Montreal, Quebec.
