Thanks for looking at this auction. Please see my feedback for jewelry sold in the past, as I have sold fine and costume pieces and everyone has been happy . Also for buy it now I have had to require immediate payment but only because I had some unregistered bidder use buy it now and end my listing, but never paid, ruining my auction and causing alot of trouble for me having to file non paying bidder, wait 7 days to relist to get fees incurred etc..... PLEASE keep in mind it is difficult to photograph diamonds and even harder with only a 3 megapixel camera, which it what I have used for these photos. The diamonds in this necklace are not cloudy but clean and white. This is for a beautiful 14 kt gold and diamond necklace. I have had it for some time now and must part with it to help pay some school expenses for my daughter. I really would rather keep it for her but her education is more important.This beautiful necklace is on a wheat chain which is very well made. The pendant portion boasts 35 beautiful high quality diamonds which are white and clean under 10 x loupe. 5 of these diamonds are approximately 3.4 to 3.5 mm. The remaining 30 are approximately 1.5 to 2 mm each and are graduated. The chains on each side of the drop measure 8 inches each. The diamond mount (drop) measures 3 inches across. Three inches of diamonds!!! Total necklace length is 19 - 20 inches. The slide clasp is marked 14k and has a figure 8 safety catch. This is a very nice necklace and is not flimsy or what you find in the department stores. MY pictures just cannot capture the true dazzling beauty of this necklace. It is difficult to photograph diamonds and show their true quality. This is a fabulous piece of jewelry and t are not many like it on ebay, now or in recent past and never at this low price. I am nearly giving it away. I do not have the 100.00 it takes to have this formally appraised however it has been looked at by two local jewelers. The first was a local gemologist who said these were very nice diamonds. Without a formal appraisal would only say that it is worth well over 2000.00. He stressed well over. I also took this piece to Zales and they tested the diamonds to be natural on their diamond tester. I can only estimate the carat weight of this piece as I am not a jeweler, (but do own some and know quality) but my best estimate is 1.75 - 2.00 carats of clean white, diamonds. I am not a gemologist however so cannot say for sure. If you are looking for an extra special piece of high quality jewelry that will last your lifetime and beyond it is for a fraction of its actual value. While I a am not a jeweler nor gemologist I cannot offer an appraisal. I will say however that I have had some very nice diamonds and I like them no less than the g-h range, and vs to si range. This necklace does not disappoint me in anyway.
