~ Vintage Estates ~ Hello and thank you for looking at our auction. This is a simply stunning cushion cut, kashmir color saphire weighing approximately 1.63 carats. The dimensions are 7.32 x 6.37 x 3.78. The sapphire is set between two beautiful square emerald/step cut baguettes measuring 3.56x2.51 and weighing .08 each for a total carat weigh of .16 carats. The diamonds are a minimum of VS1 in clarity and G in color. They are rain-water white! The metal content is platinum (tested) and a very faint 'AT' (from 'PLAT') can still be seen under a high powered loop. The ring size is currently a 6.25 and the gram weight is a solid 4.1 grams. The sapphire is a medium toned, beautiful Kashmir color heavily saturated with a good cut and polish This is a NATURAL, UNTREATED gemstone. Circa 1965-1980. This item came from an estate sale out of Sullivan's Island, South Carolina. The total gemstone weight is nearly two carats (1.79). We were unable to adequately capture the true beauty of this stunning piece. Estimated retail of this ring is in the $4,500 - $6,500 range based on today's current fair market value.
