No Reserve on this beautiful dated antique quilt! This is a beautiful antique Sunbonnet Sue Quilt, with 4 extra blocks of Sues . It is signed with '1931' in pink stitching in the corner. It has 30 large Sunbonnet Sues on it, all handpieced , made of many different beautiful vintage cottons/feedsack materials. The background is white cotton, the edges are trimmed in pretty bright pink, purple, and sage green strips. The backside is all white cotton. T are 4 damaged Sunbonnet Sues that need to be replaced. But you get the 4 replacements that have already been made!! One still has the needle and thread attached! (see photos) This fabulous quilt just needs a little TLC by a good ebay quilter. Besides mending the squares of Sues, it just has a few light storage spots on the back, which should come right out when washed. I will leave that to the new owner. It may need a few tiny minor stitches and t, but nothing major at all. This is all beautifully handmade and handquilted. It looks as if the hems & possible squares were machine stitched. This is a fabulous, dated, antique quilt!! Should last many more generations, and increase in value, with the right care.
