Estate - Dunhill Root Briar in Excellent Condition

This is a pre-owned Dunhill Root Briar with a smooth light finish that highlights some terrific straight/flame grain. The pipe is in Excellent Condition (as you will see from the pictures) and it does appear that the pipe was only smoked a few times. The bowl does not even contain a real 'ash' - still appears to need to be broken in by its' new owner. As you would expect of a Dunhill Root Briar pipe, the pipe is extremely lightweight; very well balanced... and the smooth surface a pleasure to hold. You can note upon Very close observation a surface scratch or two and a few dings-- again, really only upon very close inspection. NO Issues. A pipe cleaner does pass smoothly thru the stem into the bowl! Overall length of 5 1/4"; bowl height of 1 5/8" and inner bowl diameter of 5/8". The stem does contain the Dunhill White Dot and it is virtually in MINT condition! Nomenclature on the shank (Very Crisp and Clear): Dunhill Root Briar, 21311, Made in England - followed by what appears to be the number 18(?). The number is so small that I really cannot make it out-- even with a strong magnifying glass. Hence, I am quite sure that it is two numbers-- starting with the #1-- but not sure of the 2nd number.
