We are unable to read the writing on the blade due to corrosion, but the sword could possibly be French. It is about 37-3/4" long, with a blade length of about 31-3/4". The sword is in decent vintage condition. The blade shows considerable rust/corrosion, but the hilt, guard and grip are in good shape with a nice patina.
