ESTATE FIND BEAUTIFUL DELFT PORCELEYNE FLES 8" JUG - PITCHER - VASE For your consideration is this lovely Beautiful De Porceleyne Fles jug vase or pitcher in perfect condition. This fantastic Pitcher has the classic Delft format (wide vessel, flared top with pouring lip, and generous handle). The bulbous portion is scalloped, which adds to the value of this rare peice. It has been wonderfully decorated with a lovely floral motif, using the darker, traditional Fles blues painted on a sharp, white background. The art work on this item is even more exceptional, see photos. The sleek lines and gentle curves of the pitcher and/or jug are a great example of the painstaking Porceleyne Fles craftsmanship that makes these pieces so wonderful. Jugs of this design and size are especially rare. The bottom has the Fles logo and the typical markings. SIZE: Almost 8" tall, and over 5" at its widest point. CONDITION: Excellent, with no repairs, chips, cracks, flakes, or repairs. The unglazed underside shows just a bit of shelf wear, as would be expected. T is not yet any crazing on this great piece! .
