And the pink-red hue of this pear shaped cabochon ruby is so handsome! check out the sleek Deco style, and contemporary designer look..this ring, a size 12.75, was made by the Davidson and Sons company of New York ( it is hallmarked 'Dason'), who have been making fine quality jewelry since 1936! This classy ring weighs 5.2 grams of solid 10 karat gleaming yellow gold, and is fully marked '10 k' and signed' Dason'! The translucent 1.45 carat weight ruby is set at a diagonal in a yellow gold stage, and next to it, is a sparkling old european cut round diamond, of 0.04 ct, and 2 mm diameter. The diamond is set in a pear shaped plaque of white gold, to saucily accent the glowing red ruby. The ring has a very sleek, smooth Deco style that will mark you as a real man of elegance and style! :) and you need not be born in July to enjoy this classic ring ( ruby is the birthstone for July)! The ring, a size 12 3/4, can easily be sized 2 whole sizes, up or down, by a competent jeweler. This ring has been jeweler inspected and graded..the diamond is a grade SI/2 and its color is in the range of GHI. The presentation area measures 10 x 17 mm. The shank tapers to 3 mm in back, for comfort, and is 1.5 mm thick! And no signs of wear..a quick buff will have this handsome ring looking like brand new..it already looks fantastic!
