ESTATE SALE Lovely white porcelain cherub with hand painted Stapeliad, Hoodia, or other such cactus.The flower trimming is painted in pastel yellow with orange stamen, and gold stemsGold and black Greek keys surround the base.The cherub stands 7 1/2" tallThe fluted bowl measures 6" x 7" and is 3" deep The bowl gives the appearance of standing on a "root" base, and is held by the Cherubs left hand.His right hand holds the stapelia.The piece is unmarked, but appears to be in the French or German styleM-477 imprinted in red is on the bottom of the base.Part estate of a 97 year old woman who lived in Paradise, California.Della loved to collect many, many items.
