This ring is so beautiful!! The gleaming solid 14 karat yellow gold setting , modernist in an Art Deco smooth classic style, looks brand new, with no scratches or signs of wear! and the stunning grey moss agate cabochon, is unlike any I have seen! This gorgeous ring is a size 6.75, and could easily be sized up or down 2 whole sizes, by your jeweler, without affecting the integrity of the setting. The cabochon is set with an open back, so the light can dance through its amazing translucent dome. This ring weighs 4.0 grams of solid yellow 14 karat gold, and with the price of gold rising every day, this ring would be a wise investment . The ring is marked '14 k' as well as with the maker's hallmark, which resembles an 'M' sitting atop a bow tie...? or maybe atop an alligator? This is a very high quality piece of jewelry! the top of the ring measures approximately 3/4" east to west, and 7/16" north to south, across the marbled grey agate. This stone is just so pretty! you can hold it up to the light, and gaze into its depths with a magnifier, and it is like the ocean, or the sky, or your lover's eyes!
