Estate_Smoking_Pipe_Briar_Vintage_Extra_Clean_Condition

This pipe is a Billiard shape bowl with fill bent stem. the finish is a natural matte with a lite texture perhaps is was sandblasted. It appears "unsmoked" I find no visible signs it has ever been used. the stem is tenon type with a metal smoke cooling filter system (as pictured). It has a nice metal hallmark between shank and stem. There are no words printed on it anywhere. The stem is has no teeth marks. Very nice vintage pipe

The pipe has been restored to nice appearance, the airway was cleared and brush scrubbed using a non toxic cleaning solution (vodka) to remove excess tar build up and the pipe exterior cleaned and buffed. (Any additional cleaning will be at the discretion of the purchaser) the pipe is basically ready to smoke.

Pipe smoking has been an interest of mine for many years. Recently I have increase the interest of my hobby to learning more about pipes by restoring previously owned pipes. The restoration process allows me to see the craftsmanship and design of pipes up close and learn more than just reading a book can, there is benefit to the hands on approach. One day I hope to be skilled enough to craft pipes as well. Until then I will continue to restore pipes and sell them, to buy more pipes.
