This vintage sterling and jade ring is from the living estate of a very passionate collector of fine Native American and other outstanding jewelry. She had no hesitation for making the big and larger-than-life statement with her jewelry, and collected using both knowledge and a good eye for quality design. I plan to finish selling the jewelry from this estate by the end of this (2007) year and have saved some of the best for last, so keep checking my site if you enjoy collecting authentic vintage jewelry of this kind. This sterling silver and jade ring is........big! The face measures 1 3/8" long and almost an inch wide. Rectangular and silky convex striated jade cabochon set in a smooth edge bezel framed by applied twisted wire. Simple split shank. Not a style for everyone, but it could be for you. Condition is vintage excellent with only light wear. Ring size is approximately 7 3/4. Partial 'sterling' stamp on the inside of the band. Weighs 15.5 grams. My confession is I think it's jade, but am not 100% sure. I will plan to send this via First Class mail for a flat rate of 2.50 within the US. Feel free to E-mail me any questions or comments. Read my shipping instructions and my "Me" page for more information. Five dollars starting bid & no reserve. Thanks!
