Each year for more than thirty years Estee Lauder has introduced a collection of limited edition solid perfume compacts for the holiday season. The Estee Lauder Co. is the most prolific manufacturer of solid perfume compacts, totalling over 400 designs to date. These compacts are goldtone or silvertone metals or plastic, many enhanced with beautiful enameling, some enhanced with hand set colorful austrian crystals. These are always a limited edition, making them highly collectible. The solid perfume compact being offered comes without the perfume. This is a beautiful PAMPERED PEKINESE sitting on a vibrant rust colored enamel pillow. T are golden tassles on each side of the pillow along with rich gold toned designs on the pillow. The "pampered" pooch is goldtone, with great attention to detail of his fur. T are 2 handset crystals for its eyes. Diamond colored hand set Austrian crystals are displayed at the base of the pillow on both sides. This is done to add sparkle but does not put this "over the top". They add brilliance to enhance the ornate design. It is very well made with great attention to detail. It is done in a rich gold tone. The detail is exceptional. T are hand set dazzling and sparkling colored Austrian crystals set on the compact as well as rich, vibrant enamel color. The design, contrast and texture is excellent.
