SJ pens are shorter and thinner then their J counterparts · Color: Red, Green, Gray, Black or Blue · Date: 1950s · Nibs: Choose any combination from the choices listed below · Filler type: lever filler, uses bottled ink available in our store Classic Pens and Paper · Restored state: New J bar and fresh bladder in each. these pens are guaranteed to write · Overall condition: Excellent. You'll have to put on a magnifier and get under great light to find the flaws on these pens We'll also send f illing instructions for every fountain pen we've encountered, and a c opy of a newspaper article about the founder of the Esterbrook Pen Co. For each pen, the imprints are readable and the maker's name on the clip looks great. The black "jewels" at either end of the pen are in great condition and are not cracked. There are no chips, cracks, cuts, gauges, lip cracks, or any other issues that I've seen. The cap attaches to the barrel by turning it and the length is 4.75" capped. It works exactly like new. It is filled from bottled ink and included are good clear instructions for filling this lever pen. (Cartridges will not work in this pen). Bottled ink is available in our store Classic Pens and Paper if you need some.
