The above collection represents stamps issued by Estonia during its pre-WWII 22 years of independent life during 1918-1940. The stamps are mint, extra very fine, very-lightly hinged (usually one-time touch by a hinge only). Not all stamps could be shown on the 4 permitted scanned pages; if desired scans of remaining stamps will be gladly sent.

The following main Michel numbers are included: 1-40, 48-163. Where perforated and imperorated stamps are indicated, both are included. If several varieties of the same stamp are shown by catalogue, the lowest value was included in the price. Souvenir Sheets don't have hinge marks, but have on the back some faint black-colored marks, apparently from the printing process (scans will be sent on request).

All stamps were carefully reviewed and checked as to their condition and that the are included in the collection. Should something be missing, an appropriate adjustment in price will be made. Some stamps may not be shown on the scans in the same order as they listed in the catalogue, but they all are there. For example, the President Paets stamps are listed in the catalogue at 4 different places, but on the scan they are all in one place. Similarly combined are Wappen/Loewen stamps and some others.

The total 2006 Michel catalogue value of the offered stamps is EU 2,160, converted to dollars, it is $ 3,045.

Due to the value of the stamps, they will be shipped to overseas per insured Priority Mail International; the approximate cost is $25, plus insaurance; final cost will depend upon country of destination.
