Hello,This auction in for an extremely rare soviet Estradin 230 Synthesizer from 1984.All I know is that is extremely fun, but with my small amount of research on forums and websites, I can see it is a serious bit of kit, and a collectors item. There are two currently on sale, one in Russia for £1200 and one in Latvia (listed as UK) for £1049. These other two are both modified versions of the synth. My one here is in original shape and casing.Known as 'The Russian Minimoog', ultra rare, high quality (built by the military). The predessecor to the Altair 231.You can plug in any external sound source (bass guitar is fun) to make use of the synth sounds.I'm a professional bass player, so my need for a vintage synth isn't essential...and time for some new bass toys, hence sale! Here are some websites detailing specs and descriptions far more acurately than I am able to:/eng/base/estrdn230.php/2012/03/estradin-230-3vco-vintage-soviet-analog.html/estradin-230/estradin-230/The inputs and outputs are for 5pin din plugs. I have 2 adaptors for 1/4inch jack that I will include (they can be picked up for a couple of quid in Maplins too). Condition: I have pressed every button and moved every key, and it all operates. Perharps it could do with a service, just to make its action perfect, ie some keys need to be pressed more firmly than others. The read more
